Car crashes into power pole on Poike road
Emergency services are at the scene of an accident on Poike road in Tauranga.

The accident involving one vehicle happened just before 11.30am
A witness who lives on Poike road who wanted to be known as 'Barb' said all she saw was a power pole go flying past her window and a car crash into the tree.
"I just happened to be washing the dishes and saw a car just crash into the power pole and then into the tree next to the power pole" Barb said.
"I then saw an elderly driver getting out of the vehicle who looked shocked, but he is lucky he wasn't hurt"
