(UPDATE) Two men lost in the Kaimais

 Two men are enjoying a warm night at home ready for the All Blacks test in the morning after being lost in the Kaimai Ranges.

The two men who were tramping on one of the tracks in the Lower Kaimais became lost after being unable to locate the way back to their vehicle.

A Police communications spokesperson said the two men called for help after becoming lost approximately 700 meters from their vehicle.

Tauranga Police Search and Rescue assisted the men out of the bush  by communicating with them via cell phone.

The men had food and water available.

The men were reunited with their vehicle just before 8pm.
