Two arrested after robbery with gun
Two men have been arrested overnight after an attempted armed robbery at the Turf Bar in Kopeopeo last night.
The two men entered the bar just after 10pm armed with a shot gun.
One of the offenders was restrained at the scene from bar patrons and security. The other offender was located and arrested at a near by residence with assistance by the Police dog unit.
Whakatane CIB are investigating the incident.
