Fatal crash near Taupo
Police are investigating a fatal crash near Taupo lasnight.
The crash involving a milk taker happened at about 11.45pm last night north of the Wairakei roundabout on SH5 in Taupo.
The single female occupant of the car died at the scene as result of her injuries sustained.
The road was closed for several hours well police carried out a scene examination has been completed.

The incident is being investigated by the Police Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit.
Police say the women's details will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
