Man dead after crash on SH36
A 46 year old man died when the vehicle he was driving left the road and struck an embankment on State Highway 36 (Pyes Pa Road), Pyes Pa, Tauranga at 1253pm on Wednesday 30 January 2013. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
No road closure was necessary and there was no disruption to traffic flows.
Police enquiries are continuing and Crash Analysts attended the scene.
Police are not releasing details of the deceased at this time until members of the family have been notified.
