Man charged after explosion

Police were called to the address in Dingadee Street at 11am after neighbours heard an explosion.
When Police arrived at the scene they found gun powder, a home made rocket model and cannabis.
The man and his 17-year-old son were at home when police arrived at the scene and they admitted to creating the home made rocket. Police say.
A neighbour told Bop Live Reporter Cameron Avery who was at the scene that his windows shook when the explosion occurred.
The explosion caused no damage or injuries to any property or persons.
Police have charged the man with unlawful possession of explosives and drug related offences.
