Easter festival a success
Thousands of people packed the main street in Mt Maunganui on Saturday for the annual Easter Family Festival.
The festival organised by Mt Muanganui Main Street included a variety of local entertainment, fire eating and much more.
Organiser Leanne Brown said the festival was a success with many families coming down to take part in all the activities and enjoy the entertainment.
"It was a great day! and despite the wet weather start the festival was definitely an improvement on last years." She says.
