Police arrest man in Welcome Bay

One person was taken into police custody this afternoon at Welcome Bay School in Welcome Bay.

Six police cars and two police dog units were at the scene.

BOP Live Reporter Cameron Avery was at the scene and said a man was being pursued on foot by police and the police dog unit through the school and was arrested.

Reports are that the man was wanted by police.

Police were unavailable to comment.
