Anzac day services in BoP


Thousands will stand in honoring New Zealand's servicemen and women tomorrow for the 98th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings by New Zealand and Australian combined military forces.

Dawn and civic memorial ceremony's will be held throughout the Bay of Plenty region.

Rotorua:
5.45am - Dawn service and parade at Ohinemutu
8.50am - Parade of service personnel, cadet corps and local community groups, Lake front.
9.30am - Civic ceremony, Rotorua Convention Center

Tauranga:
5:45am - Assembly at Hayes Avenue, Greerton
5:55am - March off
6:00am - Service at RSA Cenotaph, Cameron Road, Greerton (If it is wet the service will be moved to the Greerton Community Hall).
9.00am - Tauranga Civic ceremony at the Cenotaph, Memorial Park, Tauranga.

Mt Maunganui:
5:45am - Assembly at Mount Drury Reserve
5:55am - March off
6:00am - Service at Cenotaph
9:15am - Assembly Mount Drury Reserve
9:25am - March off
9:30am - Service at Cenotaph (If it is wet the service will be held in the RSA Clubrooms, 544 Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui).

Te Puke:
10.00am - Te Puke Memorial Hall

Matata:
5:30am - Ngati Rangitihi Marae.

Kawerau:
5:00am - Navy Club, Onslow St

Te Teko:
8:30am - Gather at Te Teko War Memorial Hall followed by breakfast at Kokohinau Marae.

Whakatane:
5:45am - Dawn servie, march off, Wairaka Marae, Whakatane.
8:45am - Civic Ceremony, Whakatane war memorial service

Ruatoki:
5:30am - Tauarau Marae
