Gorge now open after truck crash

State Highway 2 at Athenree Gorge is now open after the truck which rolled down the bank at the Athenree

Gorge was successfully recovered a few minutes ago.

The detours that were in place have been removed and both lanes are open. The NZTA wants to thank motorists for their patience while the recovery operation was undertaken.
