Large scrub fire near Rotorua
Firefighters are at a large scrub fire near Rotorua.
A fire communications spokesperson says the fire is off SH30 nearer to Rotorua and is about 100 x 30 meters wide up a steep hill.
A helicopter with a monsoon bucket has been called in to assist along with the Okareka Rural Fire Brigade water tanker.
