One dead in fatal crash in Hamilton
The fatal crash involving a stock truck and a car, occurred at the intersections of SH26, Lissette Road and Ruakura Road at about 1.45pm.
Police say the driver of the car died at the scene.
The Police Serious Crash and the Police Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit are investigating the crash.
Road diversions are in place via Silverdale, Marshmeadow, Ruakura and Vaile Roads.
The crash scene is expected to be closed for the next 1-3 hours.
Police say they are currently working to contact next of kin before they can release the persons name.
