A 57 year old man who was critically injured in a P-Lab explosion at his Ocean Beach Road address on April 22 is now in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital.
The 57 year old received burns to his face and chest when an explosion occurred in the basement of his property in the early hours of April 22.
The male was taken to Tauranga Hospital before being transferred to Waikato Hospital.
Police have spoken to multiple witnesses around the scene including a man that ran from the scene of the explosion, there have been no large developments in the case so far.
Along with equipment found to manufacture methamphetamine, multiple cannabis plants were also found at the address.
