Women crashes into ANZ bank
An elderly driver was left shaken after driving her car into the ANZ Bank at Bayfair today.
The 80-year-old woman, who was visiting the shopping centre with her two elderly sisters, accidently put her vehicle into drive instead of reverse sending it through the glass doors of the bank. Police say.
Emergency services were called to the bank on Girven Road and Maunganui just after 10 this morning.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
