Large quakes hit Milford Sound
The Milford Sound has been hit by 9 quakes this morning the largest being a magnitude 5.2 which struck at 7.41am this morning.

The first quake struck at 7.41am this morning measuring a magnitude 5.2 at a depth of 6km, 229 people have filled out the GeoNet 'felt reports' for this quake.
After the first quake a magnitude 3.3 quake struck at 7:45am followed by a 3.4 magnitude one minute after, both quakes were 5km deep.
At 7.55am a quake measuring magnitude 3.0 struck, at 7.59am a 3.9 magnitude quake struck.
Another four quakes have been recorded since 8.28 this morning.
