Lost woman found in Aongatete
A 71 year old woman who went missing in the dense bush near the Aongatete Lodge this evening has been found.

A helicopter was called in to search the dense forest around the lodge while police attempted to locate her position.
A witness at the scene told The BOP Live, "I could see the helicopter flying around the area for about 20 minutes, police had their sirens on trying to see if the lady could hear them"
The search and rescue teams have made their way into the forest on foot at around 7pm to bring the woman out, she called police after becoming lost and has used a cellphone to be in contact with police since.
It is understood that she left the lodge at 2pm for a day walk, she is understood to be alone.
