13-year-old girl in stable condition after Jet Ski collision yesterday
The girl was rescued and brought to shore by a family member before emergency services arrived at the scene just after 3pm.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson says the 13-year-old girl was taken to Tauranga Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
"She had a fractured arm and possible abdominal injuries from the impact."
The girl was wearing a life jacket at the time.
Tauranga police are warning recreational water craft users to be careful, take care and be safe.
