Chiefs welcome new company to rugby

The Chiefs exciting season has enticed a highly successful international brand to rugby for the first time.
Premium European automotive brand, Volkswagen have taken their first venture into rugby by becoming the Chiefs official preferred vehicle supplier for the next three years.
The deal in conjunction with Volkswagen New Zealand has been driven by local Chiefs fan and Ebbett Volkswagen Dealer Principal Walter van den Engel.
"With the wide range of rural, commercials and recreational vehicles that Volkswagen offers, we felt that an association with the Chiefs brand was an ideal partnership for Ebbett Volkswagen," said Walter.
"We have dealerships throughout the Chiefs region including Pukekohe, Hamilton, Tauranga and Taupo so we are able to serve the franchise area with our sales, service and parts departments."
Chiefs CEO Gary Dawson said "It is exciting for the Chiefs to attract a premier brand, which has traditionally been globally associated with soccer to our national game and I look forward to Chiefs fans supporting Ebbett Volkswagen."
