Motorcyclist serious after crash
A motorcyclist is in a serious condition in Waikato Hospital today after he crashed yesterday afternoon
The Rotorua Bay Trust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at approximately 3.30pm to the crash in Ngakuru, 25 kms southwest of Rotorua.
The male rider of the motorcycle came off his bike on a sharp bend in the road and received severe head and abdomen injuries. He was airlifted to Waikato Hospital for immediate emergency surgery.
