Heavy rain continues to fall in the Bay of Plenty causing flooding throughout.
Emergency services have been kept busy with more than 100 weather related calls since 4pm this afternoon in Papamoa and Mt Maunganui.
A severe weather warning remains in place for the region with more rain forecast over the next few hours.
