Update Suspect arrested in Boston Bombings



Boston Police have just announced "CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody".

Today police have announced they have arrested 19 year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Dzhokhar's brother ,Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot dead by police after the brothers fatally shot a Massachusetts Institute of Technology policeman and severely wounded another officer.

Police found Dzhokhar hiding in a boat parked at the rear of a property in Watertown.

After the brothers killed 26 year old Massachusetts Institute of Technology policeman Sean Collier, the brothers fled in a vehicle starting a police pursuit during which the brothers tossed handmade bombs out the windows at police.

Dzhokhar managed to escape whereas Tamerlan was shot dead by police.

After a full day of searching which involved the entire city of Boston to be locked down, SWAT teams with armored vehicles scouring the city, Dzhokhar was found and arrested by police.

He was taken away on a stretcher in a serious condition his injuries have not yet been confirmed.

President Barack Obama stated that the arrest of the suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing closes what he calls "an important chapter in this tragedy''

He said there are still many unanswered questions about the bombings, including whether the two men had help from others.

The brothers father, Anzor Tsarnaev said that his younger son, Dzhokhar is "a true angel." He said his son was studying medicine, "He is such an intelligent boy," the father said. "We expected him to come on holidays here"
