Car fire at Z petrol station

Rotorua fire service responded too a car fire at the Z petrol station on Fenton Street just before 1pm this afternoon.

Fire crews reported that flames were coming from the fuel tank region and they were extinguishing the fire with dry powder.

Fire crews pushed the vehicle off the forecourt after they extinguished the fire.

No damage was done to the petrol station.
