Horse rider airlifted after fall
A Cambridge woman is in Waikato Hospital this afternoon after she fell from her horse.
At about 2pm this afternoon the Westpac Waikato Rescue Helicopter was called to Maungatutu, east of Otorohanga, where a 50yr old Cambridge woman fell from her horse.
The woman was apart of a group annual horse hunt ride across farmland.
Pilot, Dan Harcourt said the woman was treated by St John Paramedics for suspected pelvic and back injuries.
