Large scrub fire south of Rotorua

Fire service have attended a large scrub fire south of Rotorua near Kopia Road and Mangamingi Road.

Reports came in around 11:35 of a scrub fire, first crews on scene stated it was 200 metres by 50 metres.

Fire crews from Lake Okareka, Rotorua, and Taupo have been called to fight the fire.
