Boy hit by car in Whakatane
A young boy has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car well riding his bike.The accident happened on Goulstone road near Pak'n save in Kopeopeo just after 2.30pm
The boy was transported to Whakatae hospital by Stjohn ambulance.
A witness on the scene told BOPLive the boy was riding across the road when he was hit and just fell to the ground.
"When the car was coming it just hit him and he screamed loud and fell and hit his head on the the ground, police and ambulance were quick to the scene"
